Workaholic is very happy dog, and is also very interested in people! He is going to be a "velcro dog" with some lucky human, because he is going to want to spend as much time as he possibly can with him or her.
We took him to a Petco Meet and Greet over the weekend. Sometimes dogs are a little shy during their first "public" outing from the racetrack, but Workaholic handled it with grace and enthusiasm. He loved greeting people, yet was gentle with them. (For example, a little girl ran up to him and threw her arms around his neck and he didn't even blink. He snuggled up to her, gently leaning his head against her and just soaked up the attention.)
He was also very happy to hang out with his newfound greyhound friend, Nina! I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that Workaholic, Nina, and Korryn are all laughing at me here.
Workaholic is very food-motivated - I am fairly certain that there is nothing that his new family will not be able to train him to do as long as food is used to motivate him! See Workaholic (and his tongue) below, after finishing one of the treats that he was given while at Petco.
This four-year-old guy is so handsome, wouldn't you agree?
He is a delightful dog, and will make an excellent addition to a household that needs a hound!
